Why SEJR fits your clothing shop
Exchanges without fuss
Find the original receipt at the till and refund the line to the card it was paid with, or in cash. Returns and refunds only for the staff who are allowed.
Sales and gift cards at the till
Give a discount in percent or kroner, and sell and redeem gift cards right at the till. The balance follows the card, and the sale is booked correctly for VAT.
Quiet January, busy December
No monthly minimum and the money the next banking day. When trade peaks before Christmas, the money is in the account the day after, and in quiet weeks you only pay for what you sell.
What would it cost your clothing shop?
A concrete quote on your own figures within 24 hours on weekdays. No setup fee and no monthly minimum.
From new stock on the rail to the last customer of the sale
Saturday with a queue by the fitting rooms
It is Saturday, and three people stand at the counter with clothes over their arm. The scanner finds the item by its barcode, the till adds it to the receipt, and the customer taps the card on the terminal. Visa, Mastercard, MobilePay, Apple Pay and Google Pay with one tap, chip and PIN when the amount calls for it. The receipt prints, and the next customer is ready. Stock counts down by itself, so in the evening you can see what to reorder.
On Monday the present comes back
The sweater was a present, and it did not fit. You find the original receipt at the till and refund the line, or the customer takes something else. If the customer has a gift card, it is redeemed at the same till, and the balance follows the card. Discounts, returns and refunds are locked to the staff who are allowed, and each employee logs in with their own PIN, so you know who stood at the till.
What it costs in a clothing shop
A worked example for a clothing shop with a till and a terminal at the counter. The terminal and the setup cost 0 kr., the till has a fixed monthly price, and the rest is the rate on what customers pay by card.

- 3 mio. kr. a year
- Rate at that band
- 0,99 %
- SEJR Kasse, card payment built in
- 399 kr. a month with SEJR Samlet, 649 kr. a month on its own
- Terminal, service and replacement

Prices are ex VAT. On top of the rate sit interchange and the scheme fee, which pass through at cost and are not negotiable anywhere. Can I handle exchanges and returns at the till?
Yes. You find the original receipt and refund the line, to the card it was paid with or in cash. Returns and refunds can be locked, so only the staff who are allowed can do them.
Can I sell gift cards?
Yes. You sell and redeem gift cards right at the till. The balance follows the card, and the sale is booked correctly for VAT.
Can I give discounts during a sale?
Yes. A discount is given in percent or kroner on the receipt, and like returns it can be locked to the staff who are allowed.
Can the till scan barcodes?
Yes. A barcode scanner finds the item by its barcode, and the SEJR Kasse Mini has the scanner built in. Inventory and reports are part of the till, so you can see what has sold.
Which payments can my customers use?
Visa, Mastercard, MobilePay, Apple Pay and Google Pay in the terminal, and cash and gift cards at the till. If you also sell online, customers can pay the same way in the webshop.
What does a POS system for a clothing shop cost?
The terminal costs 0 kr. to set up and 0 kr. in subscription, and a till costs from 0 kr. a month, because the first SEJR Kasse Mini is free with at least 1 million kr. in annual card turnover. For a new business, your own estimate counts. The other tills cost from 149 kr. a month with SEJR Samlet, where you take card payments with SEJR and have a SEJR Konto, or from 399 kr. a month on its own. There is no monthly minimum. You pay one rate on card turnover: 1,19 % at 1–2 mio. kr. a year, 0,99 % at 2–5 mio. kr., 0,89 % at 5–10 mio. kr. and a tailored price above 10 mio. kr., plus interchange and the scheme fee at cost. Below 1 mio. kr. we quote on your own figures, within 24 hours on weekdays.
Can I switch without closing the shop?
Yes. We handle the cancellation with your current acquirer, and the terminal is delivered ready to use. The shop stays open the whole way, and Danish support is there on weekdays 9–17.
