2.940 kr. Cheapest Danish business account in year one: Nordea
2.988 kr. SEJR Konto: Danish reg.- and account no., NemKonto, card
450 kr. Wise, but foreign: no Danish account number

The short answer

Among Danish business accounts, Nordea is cheapest in the first year at 2.940 kr., because it removed its setup fee in January 2026. SEJR Konto follows at 2.988 kr., with a Danish reg.- and account number, NemKonto and a linked company card. Danske Bank's Business One costs 3.168 kr., and the dearest are the basic business accounts at Sydbank and Jyske Bank, both above 7.000 kr.

Wise and Revolut are cheaper on paper, but they are not Danish business accounts. Wise is a Belgian e-money institution and Revolut a Lithuanian bank, and neither gives you a Danish reg.- and account number. They are listed separately below.

The full comparison, and what drives the price, is in What does a business account cost?

Is there a free business account?

Not among the Danish ones. Nordea comes closest on setup, 0 kr., but charges 245 kr. a month. Wise has no monthly price, but it is a foreign e-money institution with a 450 kr. setup fee and a fee each time you send or convert money. "Free" usually means free to open, or free for a period.

Since 1 January 2025 every business has a right to a basic business account. That right is about access: a bank cannot simply refuse you. It does not make the account free, as the basic accounts at Sydbank and Jyske Bank show.

When cheap becomes expensive

  • Setup. Nykredit Enkel has the lowest monthly price, 135 kr., but its 3.000 kr. setup fee makes it 1.680 kr. dearer than Nordea in the first year.
  • Billing rhythm. Lunar Simple costs 289 kr. a month paid monthly, which is the price in the list. Pay the whole year up front and it is 2.890 kr., or 241 kr. a month.
  • Danish or foreign. Wise and Revolut give no Danish reg.- and account number. Check that the account works for NemKonto, Betalingsservice and payments from Danish customers before you choose on price.
  • What is not on the price page. Sydbank gives card and online banking prices only on request, and Jyske Bank charges for its business netbank on top of the account.
  • Reconciliation. If you take card payments, the largest cost is not on any price list: the hours spent matching settlements against sales.

That last point is where SEJR Konto differs. At 2.988 kr. for the first year it is second among the Danish accounts, with a Danish reg.- and account number, NemKonto and a linked company card, and the sale and the payout from SEJR Pay carry the same reference.
