Add a device

Button names are written as they appear on a till set to Danish. The brackets give the name on a till set to English, the first time a button is mentioned. Change the till's language

1. 1 Tap Admin at the top right of the till.
2. 2 Enter your 4-digit admin PIN.
3. 3 Choose Enheder in the menu on the left.
4. 4 Tap + Ny enhed (+ New device).
5. 5 Type the device's name in the Navn (Name) field, e.g. Kitchen receipt printer.
6. 6 Choose the type in the Type field, e.g. Bonprinter (receipt printer).
7. 7 Choose the till the device belongs to in the Tilknyttet kasse (Linked register) field.
8. 8 Choose how the device is connected in the Forbindelse (Connection) field, e.g. Netværk (network).
9. 9 Choose the manufacturer in the Producent (Manufacturer) field.
10. 10 Type the printer's IP address. You find it on the printer's test printout.
11. 11 Tap Opret enhed (Create device).
12. 12 Tap Test print to check that the printer works.
13. 13 Tap Sæt som primær (Set as primary) if receipts should be printed on this printer.

14. Good to know

    • New till: When a new till registers itself, it says Afventer godkendelse (Pending approval). Tap Godkend kasse (Approve register). Until then it can only make training sales.
    • Payment terminal: Tap Opsæt Terminal (Set up terminal) at the top to add a card terminal.
    • Maintenance: Tap Sæt i vedligehold (Set to maintenance) if a device should not be used for a while.
    • Find it quickly: Use the tabs Kasser (registers), Skærme (displays), Printere (printers), Scannere (scanners) and Betaling (payment).
