Create a gift card
Here you learn how to issue and sell a gift card from the till in SEJR POS.

The customer pays, and the gift card is printed with a barcode that is scanned when the card is used.
Step by step
Tick a step when it is done
Button names are written as they appear on a till set to Danish. The brackets give the name on a till set to English, the first time a button is mentioned. Change the till's language
- Tap Menu at the top right of the till.
- Choose Gavekort (Gift card).
- Choose or type the amount.
- Choose how long the gift card should be valid.
- Choose how the customer pays: Kontant (Cash) or Kort (Card).
- Tap Tag betaling (Take payment). The gift card prints automatically once the payment has gone through.
- Tap Færdig (Done).
Good to know
- Open shift: There must be an open shift on the till before you can issue a gift card.
- VAT: The sale of a gift card is VAT-free. VAT is not added until the gift card is used.
- Print again: If the printer is playing up, you can tap Print igen (Print again) before you tap Færdig.
- Balance: Choose Menu → Gavekort → Saldoopslag (Menu → Gift card → Balance lookup), and scan or key in the gift card's code.
- Overview: Under Admin → Gavekort you can see all issued gift cards and their balance.
Finishing up
Your gift card is now issued and ready to be given away.
Cannot see Gavekort in the menu? Then the module must be switched on under Admin → Indstillinger → Moduler (Admin → Settings → Modules). This is also where you choose how long new gift cards are valid by default.
