Start the day
Here you learn how to open the till in the morning.

You start a shift and count the money in the cash drawer. The rules of SKAT, the Danish tax authority, require it.
Step by step
Tick a step when it is done
Button names are written as they appear on a till set to Danish. The brackets give the name on a till set to English, the first time a button is mentioned. Change the till's language
- Tap Start vagt (Start shift).
- Choose your name.
- Tap Start optælling (Start count).
- Enter how many coins there are of each kind.
- Enter how many notes there are of each kind.
- Check the amount at Total optalt (Total counted).
- Tap Bekræft optælling (Confirm count).
- At the top it now says Vagt aktiv (Shift active). The till is ready.
Good to know
- + and −: You can also use the buttons next to each coin and note instead of typing the number.
- Check the equipment: Check that the receipt printer and the card terminal are switched on before the first customers arrive.
- Extra float: If you put more money in the cash drawer during the day, use the guide Cash in and out.
Finishing up
The till is now open and ready for the first customer of the day.
